Happy Mom's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful moms, Nancy and Debbie!

We love and appreciate you both so much.  Now that we have Ellie, we are even more thankful for all the ways you cared for us and loved us as we grew up.  Thank you for being the best moms (and grandmoms) ever!  After four years of being far away - in China and now in Boston - we are so excited to be live close to you again.  We love you.

Boston Bucket List: The Sox

On Thursday night, we checked something else off of Nick and Caroline's Boston Bucket List and went to one more Red Sox game at Fenway Park.

Joe and Debbie are here for Nick's graduation (which is today!  more on that later!) and went with us.  We all had no less than two Fenway Franks each (sorry if that's throwing you under the bus, Debbie!).

And Ellie came too.

We didn't get to stay long enough to sing "Sweet Caroline" in the 8th inning, but other than that it was super fun!  If any of you ever come to Boston, you've got to make it to Fenway Park.

Boston Bucket List... go to one more Red Sox game.  Check.

See the Green Monstah, eat a Fenway Frank, take it all in.  Check.  Check.  Check.

Boston Bucket List: Maine!

Nick and I wrote out a "Boston Bucket List" of things we want to do (and eat!) one more time before we leave here in June:

This past Friday, Nick surprised me by planning one last trip up to Maine for us.  He has heard me talk about this place called Red's Eats ever since we did our Maine trip back in August of 2008.  First of all, as a Texan, I had no idea what a lobster roll was until we moved up here.  But now I do.  And I've tried a few.  And Red's Eats is hands down the best I've ever had!

On our way up, we stopped in Portsmouth, NH to have some coffee and breakfast in Market Square.

Then, we stopped in Portland, ME to feed Ellie.  We found this park right off the highway.

I couldn't resist the cheek squeeze.

And then we made it to Red's Eats!

And I was happy.

Boston Bucket List... one more trip up to Maine for a lobstah roll.

Check.
