Ellie turned 5 months old on August 6! We are having a lot of fun with her, and she is growing and doing so many new things every day.
She's a little one, in the 13th percentile for weight, but she's feisty and strong and a mover! She hates being strapped down in her car seat, or having to sit still in one place. It seems like she loves music... Exhibit A: sometimes when she gets fussy I'll lay her down and play the guitar/sing for her and - amazingly - she quiets and just listens and stares for about 15 minutes! I am treasuring those times.
She's currently into chewing, facing out, playing her piano, Baby Einstein, rolling and scootching backwards, and being around lots of people. She is also into waking up early (in the 5's) and not loving long naps (both of which I'm not so into, but that's ok) :).
Here's a video showing a little bit of what Ellie's been up to this month... We think the last clip at the end is pretty hilarious, but... um... you might not. So, if you don't, we're sorry! :)

ReplyDeleteWhile watching Ellie, Cannon waved at her and kept saying, "Bubba..Bubba..." which is how he says "Baby." So cute! They need to meet in person! Love y'all!
